Quick Progress Update - 12/05/26
Hello!
This is a quick update to keep the website up to date with where The Cryomancer and my upcoming web series stand.
Progress has been chugging along nicely, not overworking myself, but not falling behind either. In my last update, I stated I was looking to release the web series on Royal Road around this time, but that plan has changed to later in this year. 17 chapters are done and dusted, with the complete story shaping up to be somewhere between 35-40 chapters. I plan to release the first arc (9 chapters) in quick succession, then commit to a weekly schedule. I could release it now, but the more I thought about it, it didn’t seem necessary. Nobody is waiting for this story, and so whether I start rolling it out now or in three months, all it does is burn the runway I’ve built up. With that said, I’ve really enjoyed writing it, and I hope it engages with more readers than my previous books have.

Speaking of The Cryomancer, that’s also going well. I’m close to finishing chapter 9/12 for book 3, with the goal to have the completed manuscript in the best shape possible for an editor to work on by the start of 2027. From there, I’ll look to release book 3 later in 2027 and have the final book in the series published by the end of 2028.
Exciting times ahead! I only hope that the Melbourne winter doesn’t slow my productivity too much. I don’t know how it goes for other writers, but I get far less done when I’m cold!
